I have been wishing to have a dog from my childhood. I loved all animals and wanted to became a vet...

My first dog arrived in 1971 when I was 11 years old. It was not dalmatian but tricolor male collie Aran /without papers/. My second dog was also collie - Fin z Podzvičínské zahrady. We bought him with my husband in 1980.  He was a beautiful gentle dog, but unfortunately kryptorchid, so he was not shown.

Fin was poisoned in 1982…

Then we started to think about dalmatian! This wonderful breed emerged in CZ in 1970, but we had just little informations. Unfortunately we read a bad article about dalmatian in the magazine and decided for schnauzer. Lassie Divoký Dingo has been living with us for 16 years! When she was 13 we wanted a new puppy.

And this time we were sure it must be a dalmatian!

I was looking for literature and informations and finally I found a breeder nearby. On November the 8th 1995 /it is a day of my birthday!!! J/ our Hetty Tečka z Krkonoš was born. Thanks to her we knew that dalmatian is a great breed!  Hetty was the first dog we showed and from that time we were hooked to the world of shows where we also find a lot of new friends.

In 1998 Hetty was mated to Ch. Argo Monzden and became the mother of our A – litter.

We never wanted to became a breeders with many dogs and puppies every year ! But this breed fascinated us and when Hetty was 5 we started to look for a new puppy.

Internet opened all dalmatian world to us and I found Barnevelds family in Netherland – kennel First Forest. Their dogs were great /we saw for the first time a scandinavian type of dalmatian by them - „WOW!“ J/ and thanks to their generosity a lovely liver girl Ch. First Forest Flavoured Caramel come to our house in 2001. She reached in a ring number of successes / Junior Ch. CZ, Champion CZ + PL, CACIB and res. CACIBs.../ and became mother of our B-litter in 2004.

After some years we had some  problems so we didn´t had any more litters from Caramel and also we have been living without shows and puppies for some years...but our girls were nevertheless happy and satisfied.

Unfortunately we had to let go Hetty to the dogs heaven  because of the heart disease on the 8th of September 2009...

The life must go on...We have been waiting for one year for a new puppy from this promissing litter: ICh. Spotnik's Viking Victory x ICh. Lacrima Christi Count On Me. So we have got a new very promissing bitch, Dignity of Hettynky Sunset Dalmatian /breeder Eva Dragovic/. She is lovely bitch with very nice character, very good friend with Cara. In the end I have to say something that is very important for me – I don’t like breeders that care only for titels, succecces and many puppies and are slandering other dogs!  Yes I'm very very happy when the dog get some certificates and titles, but the most important for you must be the DOG, not „excellent“ or „very good“!!!
